They were doing a bit of everything; growth was okay but not systematic. We analysed their funnel and cohort data to quantify where the biggest opportunities were (e.g. early churn, low expansion revenue). We combined that with competitive and benchmark context to propose a focused strategy: two or three pillars for the next 12 months, with clear metrics and owners. We also outlined a roadmap of initiatives and experiments to support each pillar and suggested how to organise (e.g. growth squad, cadence).
The strategy was adopted; they’ve been executing against the pillars and tracking the agreed metrics. Growth rate has improved and they’ve refined the plan in a follow-up cycle.
